Description

The Karel Zeman Film Club is a long-term series of digital publications in which we intend to publish the complete filmography of Karel Zeman. All the titles are prepared in digital format, processed from original film materials.

The collection contains these films:
• Journey to the Beginning of Time
• The Fabulous World of Jules Verne • Invention for Destruction
• The Fabulous Baron Munchausen
• The Stolen Airship
• The Sorcerer´s Apprentice
• On the Comet
• The Tale of John and Mary
• Film Adventurer Karel Zeman

All the DVDs come with English subtitles and rich bonus material, including short documentary films specially prepared by the Karel Zeman Museum, contemporary archive materials and interviews with the creators and a musical visual bonus: a virtual tour of the Museum with music by Clarinet Factory.

Have not yet seen all the movies, but I am very satisfied. Good product, nice extras and English subtitles. And a good price!

The CD's came in a cardboard box and wrapped with a beautiful paper sealed by a well-designed sticker. It reminds me of times when things were made with love and care. They were also very cheap! I'm very happy with it and I hope I have the chance to visit the museum one day. The documentary is really really interesting, I strongly recommend watching it. Thanks!

The DVDs are great. I love his story telling. I will say it to 3 months for them to get to Australia, but I guess Covid had some impact on that. But I am extremely happy to have them.

Jestem wielce usatysfakcjonowany zakupem. Zestaw solidnie przygotowany i zapakowany z gustem i elegancją w dbałości o nawet drobny szczegół. Jestem wielbicielem twórczości czarodzieja Karela Zemana, zakochałem się w jego filmach od pierwszego wejrzenia, od pierwszej projekcji kilkadziesiąt lat temu w kinie. Cieszę się, że ten zestaw jest ze mną, chciałbym jeszcze mieć na DVD "Opowieści 1001 nocy"...

I discovered the amazing Karel Zeman as an adult but wish I'd seen his films as a child. This is a marvellous collection, Zeman was a genius. It's wonderful that the DVDs are region free and can be viewed worldwide. My wife and I had our honeymoon in Prague 26 years ago, but I can't wait to go back, if only to visit the Karel Zeman Museum.

8 Film meravigliosi, un pacchetto eccezionale per chi ama il cinema e soprattutto un cinema a misura di bambini e ragazzi. Purtroppo i sottotitoli sono solo in inglese e ceco. Se fosse possibile fare anche una versione in italiano sicuramente troverebbe diversi acquirenti! 8 Wonderful films, an exceptional package for those who love cinema and above all a cinema for children and teenagers. Unfortunately the subtitles are only in English and Czech. If it were possible to do even an Italian version, it would surely find several buyers!
